Upweoni school project

The school is within Malindi Ngala fase II

It is a mixed day primary community school.
number of pupils (students) : 1200 (one thousand two hundred and ten)
number of staff (teachers) :26

The school occupies 2 sites, old and new

In the old site we have the lower, from nursery to class 3.
The rooms are temporary as they are build using soft boards since the plot is for somebody.

Now we have been served with a notice to leave the site and we are moving slowly to the new site, which we have been offered with a tittle deed.

Until today, we have constructed 10 classes, occupied by the classes 4 to 8, but due to shortage of rooms they are combined in each class.
e.g. 4: two classes in one room
       5: two classes in one room
       6:: two classes in one room
       7: two classes in one room
       8: two classes in one room

So we have a shortage of 8 (eight) new classes in order to shift the lower primary to join the upper on the new site and leave the old site to the owner.

The mode of building is a combination of work from the parents and donations from well wishers.
